Clinical Supervision with Shevon Jones, LCSW

According to The Georgia Secretary of State Board Rules (2015), a clinical supervisor is defined as "a person who is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Psychologist, or Psychiatrist and must have practiced in their specialty for at least 2,000 clock hours over a minimum of 2 years following licensure." (Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. R.135-5-.04) (O.C.G.A Secs. 43-1-25, 43-10A-5, 43-10A-12.)

Each supervisee must complete at least 120 hours of clinical supervision by a "duly qualified supervisor" over the course of no less than 36 months (3 years). No more than 50 hours per year can be counted toward your clocked supervision hours. At least 50% of your supervision hours must be with a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and no more than 50% of your hours can come from group supervision.
